New Toys

As promised.... here are some pictures of Jaxon with his new toys! He is such a wiggly guy now and is always needing to be entertained! He started getting bored so we got out his new toys!!! Yep he loves them and I can actually get some things done!

This is the exersaucer Joels aunt gave us! He is still too small to even reach the toys, but really likes to stand and kick in it! He thought it was pretty funny the first time I put him in there!

Next we bought him a new playmat! This is his FAVORITE!!!
The black and white kitty sings a song if he spins the ball around. He gets so excited when he does it! He kicks and laughs like crazy!
This is my favorite picture. It is such a typicall look for him right now. The last couple weeks he has really improved with is hand/eye coordination. So he is grabbing and swatting at EVERYTHING! Including my hair! He gets this funny face when he is concentrating on grabbing something! I think its so cute!

Another mile stone he has hit...... JAXON CAN NOW ROLL OVER!!!! We have been kinda slacking on the tummy time, and on Wednesday morning ( June 17) Joel put him on his tummy while I was getting ready. I heard Joel freak out and when I came out of the room he said Jaxon had rolled from his tummy to his back!
He has been doing it ever since. As soon as we lay him on his tummy he flips right over! He was only going 1 way the last couple days, but today he went the other way! We are so proud of him! But of course every time we plan ahead and get out the video camera, he starts throwing a fit and puts his face into the floor to cry! So sad! Maybe one day we will get it on camera to show off!

Happy Fathers Day! - To my hubby

Happy 1st Fathers Day Joel! I love you so much! Your such an amazing dad to our little boy! Your so patient and sweet with him and he just LOVES you! I think it is so cute how you can get him going into fits of laughter! He is lucky to have you as his dad and example! And I am soooo lucky to gave you as my husband! You help me with so many things, and can ALWAYS bring a smile to my face no matter how mad I am! :) Thank you for everything you do for us!!! We both love you more then anything in the world! Hope you are having a good day!!!

Happy Fathers Day! - To my Dad

I just wanted to wish my dad a Happy Fathers Day today! He is a great dad to me and my sister and has always been there to help us with anything we need! He has taught me so many things about life in general and I am very thankful for the lessons I have learned from him (even if I was not happy at the time!) I am grateful to have you as my dad! I HATE working and leaving my baby! I know it could be worse, I could be working full time or something.... but that doesn't make it any easier! By the end of the week I am missing him so much I can hardly concentrate! I know it's temporary... that's what I have to keep telling my self.
But in the end all I want to do is be home with Jaxon.....

New Hats!!

Trudie got Jaxon a few cute things while she was in Utah! I haven't put the outfits on him yet.. one of which includes a new swimsuit, but these hats were so cute on him! Haha Joel and I were laughing and he was smiling away! Until we got out the camera of course!

The hat that matches his swimsuit is too big.. so I have to go exchange it for the next size down. But he is so cute! He was just staring at us like "what is so funny???"

Jaxon has been playing with some new toys lately... I will add those pictures later!

Race for the Cure

This morning... at 7:30 Danielle and I went to downtown St. Louis to be a part of the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure. We were on a team sponsered by a local country music station! TEAM BREADHEAD!! haha Funny name huh? Anyway we were given bright yellow shirts that respresented our team and the front of them said "FIGHT LIKE A GIRL!" :) Very clever!

This is us right before the race started. The weather was perfect.. a little humid with a light breeze to cool us down!

There were over 64,000 people there this morning.... this was infront of us once the race started! I don't know how well you can see it, but the ENTIRE street was so full of people... the sea of white/pink all the way up the road as far as you can see are people! CRAZY!

And this was behind us.. we were probably in the middle, but who really knows! I was amazing though!
It was a very pretty sight when we got close to the finish line.. picture perfect! The camera does not do it justice!Here it is.. the famous pink balloon finish line!

After the race, while we waited for Joel to come pick us up (we didn't want to deal with parking), we stopped at this SOOO cute and super chic little cafe called Crepes in the City. The food looked amazing!!! But pricey.. so we shared a yummy Pina Colado smoothie! Very rich but good!

All in all it was an amazing experience to be part of such great cause! Unlike most people there we didn't have close relatives who had lost their lives to breast cancer, but we wanted to be there to show our support in finding a cure for us, our kids, and grandkids! And of course it's fun to be in the middle of the city with thousands of people! Fun memory I will always remember! Thanks for coming with me Danielle!

I WON!!!

So Crystal in my ward introduced me to this cool blog site that does different giveaways from various companies. Well I have been SUPER addicted to it and check it daily and have been entering my self into the drawings for the giveaways (by the way... the stuff she finds in AWESOME!) and I finally WON! ...... Goes to the Zoo. They have you spell out your childs name, and they personalize the book with their name on it throughout.! So cute! Jaxon will have his own special book that even has his name on it!

Today, June 8th, 2009 my little sis turns 19! She is the cutest girl I know!!! She always has a smile on her face and always makes me laugh.... mostly because she should probably be blonde! :) JK I freakin love you so much Stef! Yor an amazing person and have grown so much! Your an amazing example to me and hope you know how much I love you! I am so sorry that your present will be late, but I hope you had a great day! I hope you got spoiled and enjoyed shopping! New Hair Cut and Piggys BBQ

I got a new hair this morning! I was so nervous but really excited to have a change! My hair was getting way too long and taking too long to style. So I decided to chop it! :) It feels so different but refreshing! What do you think???After along afternoon of house hunting we decided to eat at Piggys BBQ (Joel calls it Piggy Butts because of the billboard we saw!) HAHA Joel LOVED the food there and I even thought it smelled good and I'm not big on bbq.
