Rachael Day

We took Rachael for her day last week and went to a really fun park. She was an angel and she LOVES being with Joel. They just have a special relationship and she knows it! She didn't get spoiled that day at all :).

Yep she got SOAKING wet!!! But loved it! Jaxon was finishing eating so we sat in the shade and played. He was more then content with that idea!

Now we are in Utah, unpacking and getting settled. We are so excited and happy to finally be here and can't wait for the things in store for us here! We will miss everyone in Missouri so so so much and hope to see everyone soon!!!!

Friends and the Park

Before we left Missouri we went to Danielle and Trents house for dinner and a night of fun!

Krew and Jaxon are such good buddies!


After we got done eating and playing a couple games we decided to go on a walk and stop at the park for Krew to play. It was so much fun! Thanks Danielle and Trent for the fun night! We will miss you guys! Hope to see you soon!

Jaxon loved the park! It was so nice outside and was a perfect night to be out!

Look at the little smiles on his face?!?! We put blankets around him so that he could sit in the swing. He loved it!

I have no idea how we got him to smile in all of these pictures and look right at the camera... but I love these pictures of him!

Jacob Day

We took Jacob swimming on his day! He was such a good sport because there was a breeze that made it kinda cool outside! Actually it was the perfect temp. without the dumb wind! Jaxon sat with me on the stairs, and Joel took Jacob around the pool and played with him! Such a cute boy!

It takes us about 10 minutes to get back to Lon and Trudie's house. This was Jacob within about 2 minutes of leaving our house! We wore him out good I guess!

In the pool, and even once he fell asleep, he would NOT put down the Cars toy we bought him!

Jaxon Kisses - Photo Editing

We have taught Jaxon how to give kisses! Yep they are slobbery but so cute! Jaxon thinks its pretty funny now!

A lady in our ward posted the website she uses to edit her pictures. I decided to look at it to find out you can do stuff for FREE without downloading anything on your computer! All you do is upload you pictures to the website, edit them, then save them back on your computer! The website is www.picnik.com . So I am now addicted! It's so fun! Here are a few I messed around with a little. Let me know what you think!

Fender Bender - Sammi Day

Well here is a really random post. Inbetween packing and cleaning Joel and I have taken breaks to have some fun! We have been picking up one of the toddlers for the afternoon and taken them to lunch, and then we run our errands and do something fun with them! It really doesn't matter what we do, they are just excited to "go bye bye with Liana and Joel" :)

We took Sammi the first day, and on our way to Wal Mart to pick up a couple things, a lady hit us in the parking lot! It was obviously her fault, she just came right out of one of the parking isles and didn't even bother to try and stop. She got out of the car after she hit us and asked me "what happened?" WHAT?!?!?! She was a very old lady in a big truck. Great. Anyway, Jaxon was asleep and we had just picked up Sammi. Of course it woke Jaxon up and he started screaming and Sammi was so scared because she didn't know what happened! Joel is very proud of me... because I went "Mama Bear" on her! lol I didn't even realize I was doing it, but I guess hearing my baby crying and Sammi so upset I got pretty mad at her!

After calming down Jaxon by giving him his binki, I got Sammi out and gave her a big hug! She asked me... what happened? So I explained to a little 3 year old that the car got an ouwie. After that she was fine telling EVERYONE about the ouwie on our car!

Luckily a cop was right there and he did the info exchange for us. But we still had to sit there FOREVER! I told Sammi if she was a good girl we would get her a princess toy! She was soooo good, and I am not sure... but I think she liked her toy! :)

I think this picture says it all! Joel loves to tickle and tease Sammi! She is very ticklish and giggly and was so much fun that day! I love that girl!

Big News!

Ok so I'm sure everyone knows by now... but I figured I would post it anyway! Joel and I are moving back to Utah in 2 weeks! We are soooo sad to be leaving our friends and family here in Missouri and will miss everyone like crazy! But we are very excited for the next step in our lives and I know all the grandparents in Utah are excited to have us closer! I think they are more excited about seeing Jaxon then they are us! lol Oh well!

We have had a rough couple months but know the Lord has a lot in store for us if we keep doing what is right and have faith that he knows what is best for us! Im not gonna lie I question this sometimes in my moments of stubborness, but I keep getting this overwhelming feeling everything will be ok and I can't see the big picture like He can!

Anyway, I also really wanted to post a picture of Jaxon and Ty. I finally got the rest of the pictures from the 4th. And these were just too precious to not post!!!

They share a birthday...

Jaxon and his "girlfriends" :) haha Aren't they all adorable?!?! I can not tell you how much I am going to miss these kids! I get teary-eyed thinking about it! But until then we are going to take a lot of pictures with them and "Baby Jacket". They have been calling him that since he was in my tummy! haha Sammi and Emi are getting better at his name though!

4th of July

Before we started our official festivies for the 4th, Trudie came over with her kids to take some pictures with Jaxon! All but 1 were with her and they all looked so stinkin cute! For some reason when I copied the pictures over I didn't get all of the ones with him and the "baby" girls.... so these will have to suffice. The ones of him and Tyeesha were darling (they were born on the same day), but of course I didn't get them! Grrrr I hate computers sometimes!

Anyway enough ranting here you go.... picture OVERLOAD!!!

This picture is of Sammie trying to tell Jaxon about princess stuff after she heard Jacob telling him about cars. I am not kidding they started to argue and started competing to get Jaxon's attention so they could tell him what they were into! It was so funny!!!

The rest of our day was spent at the party with our family and friends eating our amazing, homemade Cafe Rio salads! Yum Yum! It was SOOOO humid and had been raining almost all day. Our parade got cancelled, and we didn't go see any fireworks because of the downpour! So we sat at Bobby and Kierras house and watched them on TV and played games! We had fun and are very thankful to be living in a free country! God really has blessed America with more then we will ever comprehend!

Lil' Swimmer

We decided to take Jaxon for a little swim tonight! He was kinda tired, but was such a good boy!!

He did way better then I thought! It was so fun! Hopefully the weather is nice for the holiday weekend and we can go a couple more times!

4 Month Check Up - Solid Food

We took Jaxon on Tuesday for his 4 month check up.... we were a few days early from the official date, but he did really well! He weighs 12 lbs 2 oz and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is still our little guy in the 5th percentile for weight and 7th for height!

He was soooo sad when he had to get his shots! He really screamed when she started and made me almost cry! But as soon as I picked him up he calmed right down!

So the doctor told us we can start him on SOLID foods! He said to start with Rice Cereal until he is actually eating it... then we move on to the yummy baby food! :)

Well.... here are some pictures of his first time trying it! He is taking his sweet time getting used to it and is not a huge fan yet! :)

That night after his shots he was so tired! A little fussy but of course Joel got him all cuddled and asleep! Cute huh???
