Christmas Day
This was Jaxons first Christmas! He was not super excited about the whole thing! But started getting the hang of it as he got used to it! He would start to rip open the presents (with some encouragement) and peek inside to see the toy! It was so cute!
Living around so much family this year for Christmas was really fun.... but exhausting! We were at my moms for a while, got ready, went to Joels parents house, then his grandparents, then to my dads house then to Joels other grandparents! It was such a fun day and we got soooo spoiled! Thanks EVERYONE for the great gifts, expecially the fun toys for our little guy! He is a happy boy with all of his toys to play with! Sunday, December 27, 2009
Twas the Night Before Christmas....
Dorky faces I know!
Jaxon opening his Christmas Eve pjs!
Joel thought his Xbox 360 pjs were pretty funny! I found them at Target and was so excited to get them for him!
Joel got me the softest snowflake jammies! I love them!
The girls in their jammies!

Lately....
I went to the Festival of Trees last week! Seriously some of those trees are AMAZING! Almost too good! Haha They make mine look pretty lame! **tear** Check out this tree... it really is a pine tree that they "shaved" to look like a palm tree! Who comes up with this stuff?
They also had a Santa there for the kiddos! So of course we had to take Jaxon over there! And my child was the one who RIPPED OFF HIS BEARD!!! If you look really close in the picture you can see Santa holding his hand down from doing it again! Haha it was so funny! He didn't really smile, but he didn't cry... so I consider it a success!
I just though this picture was cute! We did nothing all day but play on the floor! Fun Fun!
Yesterday was Jaxons 9 month appt. Here is how he measures up....
Weight: 17.6 lbs (10th percentile)
Height: 27 inches (10th percentile)
Head: 40th percentile
Thankfully he only had to get 1 shot this time! But I still made Joel come with me for emotional support! I hate holding my baby on the table to get his shots! (Besides the fact that needles make me pass out if I see them.. wuss I know!) He was much tougher then me! And only cried for a few minutes!
In other news... we were invited by some friends in our ward to the Utah Flash game last night! They had some free tickets and we decided to go before the big HOAX story came out! Well after we heard the rumors about Michael Jordan and Bryon Russell being there we got excited for the chance to see them! Apparently we were not the only people excited! The McKay Event Center was PACKED beyond belief to see them go 1-on-1 at half time! Well to make a long story short.. Bryon Russell was there, but MJ was not! They even went so far as to bring out an impersonator surrounded by security onto the court. Yeah it was pretty lame! The funniest part was people starting throwing their free UT Flash shirts back on the court and booing! Haha Don't worry over 3/4 of the place cleared out before the 3rd quarter was over! Sad for the team but there are some angry fans! We had such a fun night with our friends either way! So we didn't care too much! We were bummed, but who cares! Night out with friends and Frostys after... I am a happy girl :)
Whoever made it this far into my LONG post.. Thanks! And coming soon... pictures from the yearly Roper Christmas Pary! :)

Growing Boy
He used to LIVE in this bouncy/vibrating chair! Now he likes to climb on it! He does not like being strapped into anything... so this was a quick picture before the bucking started! :)
Love ya buddy!!!
