Our Firstborn

Jaxon Jaxon Jaxon..... he is without a doubt 3! He is so much fun, but so much work at the same time! I finally moved all of his toys into his room! I was so sick of my living room drowning in toys! I LOVE IT! He goes in there all the time and plays/makes a huge freakin mess! But at least it's all contained to his room. Why did I not do it sooner?
This kind of mess... much more bearable in his room!
His talking has improved sooooo much! He never stops talking! Joel and I laugh at him everyday. The things he comes up with are hilarious! I wish I could record him all day.. just to remember his silly 3 year old chatter. It's so sweet.
The boy LOVES to swim. I think he has spent more time in the pool this summer than out. We have a clubhouse that is a 1 minute walk away, so Joel took him almost every night this summer. Sometimes when it was almost dark! Here are a bunch of pictures of my Jaxon this summer! Really in no order.

Helping the guy fill up the pool with COLD water.

He loves taking silly pictures of himself!

Orem Owls baseball game. He was scared of that creepy owl!

Us at the baseball game

Ice cream cone in the car. He didn't even eat half before it was melted.
Smores in my moms back yard

Chilling in his undies and helping me get Carson dressed.

Begged dad to get a squeaky polar bear at the zoo. He is SPOILED!

Happy little Preschool boy. Love this face!

Obsessed with taking the camera and taking pictures of random things.

Sick day, watching a movie and playing on his bed.

He lives for suckers! "Mama, I get a sucker for going peepee!"

Silly boy at a luau

Cheeser!
He is such a handful right now. This stage of not listening, I can do it by myself, tantrums, and little to no patience is rough! But I would not change a thing about him! He is the BEST big brother. He is very gentle and sweet with Carson. He also still takes 2 hour naps! HEAVEN! We sure love this boy, he is growing up way too fast! He makes us smile every day! Love my Mister.

Blessing Day - 3 months

Carson was blessed this last Sunday by his dad. It was such a special blessing, Joel did a beautiful job. Little Carson was an angel during the whole thing. Apparently he was smiling THE WHOLE time. My happy boy.
We also hit his 3 month mark on Saturday. This guy smiles constantly now! You just look at him, or talk and he just starts grinning away. His coos and giggles are in full swing now! We have known he is super ticklish for a while. But lately, Joel has really got some full blown laughs out of him by tickling his hands. So random, but so dang cute! Here are a bunch of pictures from his blessing day!

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly

THE GOOD
My mom's family has been in town this last week! My moms sisters Nancy, and Lucy, and Lucy's 2 boys, Cesar and Vinny. We have stayed busy between taking them places and hanging out at home and in the pool! They left today and I am so sad! So is Jaxon, he looked for them all morning. He has loved having these 2 boys to play with! Some random pictures of our fun!
Brick Oven!!! My mom is in the pink, Nancy in the orange, Lucy in white, and Cesar in the back.

Crazy boys!! Cesar on the bottom, then Vinny, then Jaxon

Jaxon was determined to tackle Cesar into the pool!
Look at all these boys! 2 are mine, 2 are my cousins, and 2 are my cousin Dana's boys!

Dana and I!

Heading up to the Alpine Slide at Olympic Park

This happy little guy stayed at the bottom with my mom
Waiting in line for the slide! Cesar, Nancy, and Vinny

Grotto Falls

My cousin and I climbed to the top! I am so out of shape!

Brick Oven... again! Vinny is so cut1!

Stef and Cesar

Cesar and his first Hawaiian shaved ice!

THE BAD
We have literally stayed up late every day, taken short naps, and been going and going all day long! That makes for one grumpy 3 year old! I thought terrible 2's were rough... they got nothin' on this 3 business!
And our littlest man, is no longer nursing. Totally breaks my heart. Today has been rough. He just isnt getting enough. I feed him for a half hour, and within 20 minutes he screams until he gets a bottle, and will drink the whole thing. It's killing me, so bottles he will have. :(

THE UGLY

My poor phone... which I LOVED! After the park, I needed to take Carson out of the sling, I sat my phone on the back of the trunk. Yeah, I forgot it was there, we drove off. And didn't realize until we got home! Joel drove around in the dark and found it in the middle of the road. Smashed. At least Joel was able to get all my pictures off of it! This is the last picture I took on my phone... Jaxon "fishing" in a fountain. :)

2 Months

Carson is 2 months old now. He sure is getting big! He is a whole pound bigger then Jaxon was at this age! And is a little bit longer! (10 lbs 2oz - 15th %,
He is VERY smiley... and coos and coos! We love it! Jaxon runs up to me multiple times a day saying " Mama... come see... Baby Carson is smiling!"
He sleeps like a champ! 11-7 every night. Not a peep till 6ish, takes a binky, and sleeps for another hour or so! It's heaven. Mama is happy about that. (Don't asky about Jaxons sleep schedule now... it's the opposite of heaven.)
He is getting better at holding his head up! Especially when he is fully awake. He loves examining faces, watching tv, and watching his brother play.
His hands are always moving when he is awake. When he gets excited, the flail everywhere, along with his legs!
Eyes have not decided on a color yet... most of the time they look brown, but every once and a while they look totally blue! Crazy! Decide already!
0-3 month clothes are getting too small. Especially the jammies. We are already moving up to 3-6!
Nursing.... oh nursing.... I'm not a huge fan. But I am giving it my best shot! And have been telling myself since I got pregnant I was going to nurse. Anyway, he does good at home. In public, we both hate it... dread it... avoid it! So we supplement with formula. And by nighttime, he will not calm down unless he gets a bottle right before bed. So that's what he gets. :)
Still hates the tub! Like screams until he gets out. We tried feet in the pool the other day, same thing!
He can almost roll over onto his stomach. He has done it a couple times, but it was probably a fluke.
Now that he is awake and alert more often, we are starting to feel like we are getting to know him too! SOOO fun!
