Going to Church

We took Jaxon to church for the first time this week! He did so good! Slept almost the whole time. We bundled him up and put him a sweater outfit we got from our baby shower.

Thanks Kierra and Trudie for the adorable outfit! I was suprised the clothes came close to fitting! When the sweater was off he looked like an old man with his pants up past his belly button though! haha

Daddy Time

So Mother Nature is all sorts of confused... it's the end of March and it snowed!!! I sure could use sunny warm weather!!! But the cold weather did allow for some much needed Daddy/Son time.

I love this picture! Joel is such a great dad! I could not ask for a better husband and best friend! He is so gentle and sweet with Jaxon... and helps me so much when he is home! I just love these 2 guys! I am so lucky to have them both in my life. Spending most of the weekend hanging out at home together was great! And of course no weekend is complete without a bunch of fun pictures of our little guy!

Lets not forget to mention how good he is at putting him to sleep! I swear Joel picks him up and Jaxon is dead asleep within 5 minutes!

3 Weeks Old!!!!!

My little Jaxon is already 3 weeks old! I can't believe he is growing so fast! Well because we live so far away from a lot of our family and friends I decide to start a blog to keep everyone updated on our lives. I hope I can update this enough so everyone feels like they are a part of his life no matter where they live.

Here are a bunch of pictures I took today.... He is just BARELY starting to fit into his newborn clothes. I have to put a onesie underneath them and put a pair of socks on him to so that they fit a little bit better. We have tons and tons of newborn outfits, and I was so sad he didnt fit in any of them. Thank goodness for Trudie who happened to give me a few preemie outfits that he has been wearing.

So now I am out of control wanting to take pictures of him in every single one of his outfits everyday! HA

He makes the funniest faces ever right now! I just love them.

This is by far his favorite face to make... He does this face all the time! It makes us smile. Sometimes he not only flares his nostrils, but his eyes go cross eyed! So Silly!
