I need some advice! This is my happy, easy going baby!

This is my FREAKING-OUT-CUZ-OF-THE-VACUUM baby!

I can't vacuum while he is sleeping cuz it wakes him up, and when I vacuum when he is awake he gets hysterical! So I have resorted to vacuming with him in my arms (he grips my neck and arms so hard)! Can you see my dilema? He is getting so heavy and vacuuming 1 handed is a pain! What can I do to help him not be so scared of the vacuum? Even when I was pregnant with him he would go nuts kicking and moving everytime I vacuumed! Maybe it's a fear that can't be helped right now... Hmm? What do you think?

Vacuum on Sat. When Daddy is home. Dads work miracles on fears. Trust me my dad did for me...
Hudson hates the vacuum too! There is no way I can possibly hold him anymore, so I just have to let him cry. Let me know if you figure something out!
I think the idea of doing it when Joel is home is a really good idea, so that he is in dad's arms while watching- have Joel touch the vacuum while holding him-
Anonymous was Gma Brown!
Wow, the vaccuum doesn't phase my baby at all. I hope it stays that way. My dogs, on the other hand, freak out. But I don't hold them. :)
Maybe Joel can do the vaccuuming while you take Jaxon somewhere fun, like the park (when it gets warmer).
I hear your pain! Xadi HATES the vac too! I send her on a walk with daddy or over to the neighbors for 10 minutes! Not worth the tears and they are happy to help! Or if all else fails I put on her fav movie in one room and close the door, she's a little freaked but I get it done! Charlie on the other hand loves it! So you may not be cursed with all your children!
