We are currently in the process of transitioning Jaxon from formula to regular milk. He is not a fan of the idea! This also includes no more taking the bottle to bed with milk... 1-bad for teeth, 2- bad habit! (Yes I know terrible habit that I didn't stop early enough). So taking 1 step at a time, we give him water in his bottle when he goes to sleep. He does pretty good at night with it.. but naptime he fights it! Also, his normal formula bottles now have 1/2 milk, 1/2 formula (dr suggestion) to make the switch easier. He is doing ok with it, but gives me weird looks while he is drinking because it tastes different! Needless to say he is fussy and a little grumpy about the whole thing at times! Especially naptime! Which makes for a sad baby and worn out mom! After 40 minutes of BAWLING part of me wants to just give in, make a normal bottle and try again another day. But I know the older he gets the worse it will be. So we are doing our best!
To make matters WORSE... Jaxon is getting his 2 top middle teeth! I can see the left one, but the right one is still a little swollen and trying to break through! He has never been an overly fussy baby, but these mean little teeth make him sad. I can just tell they hurt! He wants lots of cuddles through out the day and sometime just lays on my shoulder and whines till he is almost asleep! It breaks my heart! But I am totally eating up the cuddle time!!! (He has NEVER been cuddly!)

He is so cute! Marley is the same she'll be one in a month and her 2nd bottom tooth just barely popped through! But if you don't have it yet, you should try this toy vibrator that you can get at Target! Everytime they bite it it vibrates, Marley loves it and it has been a life saver!!
Sad poor kid. I am not looking forward to stuff like that. But you are a good mom for doing it :)
Hudson never transitioned well from one thing to the other. Stick to it, and eventually he'll be ok. I know it's hard at the time though! Hang in there!
Cute little things! Sorry about the hard times. It will get better, just hand in there. Question, how do you write on your photos, the names and dates? Thanks in advance!
He's adorable! Hang in there- you're right that it is better to do it now than later. Good luck!
