This is more for me then anything else... I want to remember what a joy/nightmare potty training Jaxon was! Haha
Day 1....
Probably 15 accidents through out the day! Little bits here and there and not 1 successful finish in the potty! (Her method is basically when they start going run them to the potty to finish.)
Nighttime... NO pullups, just underwear. I changed the sheets 3 times. UGH. What could be worse then that? Well my little boy takes after me... there are few things more important then sleep. Soooo he does NOT wake up when he pees or when he realizes he is wet. So I was up all night checking on him and worrying if he is freezing his little bum off all wet! When he was all wet he was dead asleep and did not want to be disturbed! (He usually wakes up almost completely dry... why all the sudden is he peeing so much? Probably cuz he is holding it all day!)
Day 2...
First thing in the morning we had 1 (most likely by chance and lucky timing) successful #2 in the potty!!! About 5 (small) accidents all day! And he peed a little bit about 3 times through out the day in the potty! Boy was I proud of him! He was pretty excited too!
Soooo guess we will see how tonight goes. I have a feeling it will be much like last night. I am prepared for that. I am also prepared for complete failure tomorrow... the looming day 3 of the "program".
BUT I have nothing to lose! Maybe people think I am crazy for trying to potty train my not quite 25 month old... but I don't care. I want to try. I am committed to helping him learn. Even if it takes 3 weeks or more! I am not forcing him or making it world war 3.... and he seems to be doing ok... not great but not horrible either.
Plus... he looks sooooo stinkin cute in his big boy underwear!!!
**** How am I keeping my sanity with accident after accident, little sleep, and load after load of laundry???****
Nap time for both of us (He is totally dry for naps so I have little to worry about)!
Encouraging texts from the hubs....
My awesome friend Jamie for bring me some MUCH NEEDED Dr Pepper
And my Mom for coming to visit and bringing dinner!

Awesome! I really hope it works, because I want to potty train Miles early, too, and I'm looking for some inspiration. None of this diapering four-year-olds nonsense. Don't worry about the naysayers, when I was a baby, I was potty trained at barely two or even before, so it is not impossible (although I think boys are trickier to potty train than girls, for some reason). Good luck with day 3!
Awww, the joys of potty training!! How freakin cute is he in his little undies?? Good luck.
Nothin a lil caffeine can't fix ;)
