Nothing super exciting has been happening lately. Just normal married, student, family, preggo life. But this is the stuff I want to remember.
We stay busy with random things, and try to take it easy when we do have some free time. I am feeling pretty good, expect for EXTREME ligament pain (I think). It gets so bad I can't freakin walk, sit, or do anything! But other then that I'm doing good! I am CRAVING ZINGERS.. the vanilla ones, like NONSTOP! All this baby weight will be thanks to those! I honestly can not get enough of them! Don't ask how many I have eaten.....
This little guy moves a lot! And I love it! Even though I have done this before, you really forget, and miss what it actually feels like to have a little munchkin moving around, kicking, and punching your insides. It makes me happy! The other day, Jaxon was sitting on my lap playing games on my phone. He had his hand on my big ol' belly (it's hard to miss now days). Anyway, he just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. Little baby started full on kicking Jaxons hand! Jaxon was too busy with a matching game to really notice, but I was dying... it was so cute!!
Because of my extreme pain, my DR wanted me to have an ultrasound just to make sure nothing was seriously wrong! I was NOT complaining... any excuse to see that baby sounds good to me! :)
I usually don't take Jaxon to the dr with me. He is almost 3... enough said. But this time I had to take him with me. I was a little worried... but figured between my phone, bribery aka suckers, and the actual ultrasound.. he would behave. I wish I would have known how well it was going to go. I would have videoed the appointment. Let me back up by explaining this... My last ultrasound Jaxon was invited to, did not go well. He freaked that I was on some weird table, in the dark, with some girl pushing something on my stomach. Poor Joel had his hands full, while trying to enjoy the gender reveal at the same time. This time I went all by my self, with my little man in tow.
I laid on the table, and he climbed up and sat with me. He had just got a hair cut, so he was busy working on a sucker. I think he asked me about a million times "What are you doing?" As soon as she started, I pointed out the tv, and told him to watch the tv so he could see the baby in my belly. He was not convinced until she did a profile view. He instantly perked up and said "BABY! In there!" Because of my pain, the ultrasound was kinda painful, so Jaxon kept asking "It hurts? Owie?" I told him no, mom is fine. He was really curious about the actual stick thing she was using on my belly, so I told him it was a camera, taking pictures of the baby. His response was so cute! "Baby.... say cheese!! It's a camera.... Baby... say cheese!" I never want to forget that. I think it was really the first time he started understanding there is a baby in my belly. Even after he woke up from his nap later that day, he was still talking about it. When Joel got home, he told him all about the "Baby in there.... the camera... say cheese!"
So there he is... the little baby posing for the camera at 25 weeks! :) I sure love my Jaxon, and I sure am in love with this little boy too!
