Wow!!! I was huge! That was the day my mom flew in to Missouri to help welcome our new baby! I was starting to get nervous, anxious, excited and THRILLED to not be pregnant anymore! I just wanted to hold my little munchkin! I had 5 days to go... I never thought a year would FLY by so fast! Today I have 5 days till my little baby is not a baby anymore!

Road Rage!

First this is my 101st post! Yipee!
Anyway, wanna hear another crazy story? Ok.. :)
So I got home from my dads the other night around 9:45, I knew Joel was almost home from school and figured he probably beat me. Well I turned into our street and there are 5 cop cars in front of our house and Joel was standing by the garage talking to one of the police! My first thought you ask... "What did Joel do?" (I know rude huh?) Next thought, "Break in?!?!?!" Last thought... nothing, teary eyes cuz I didn't know what to think!
The first thing the police man says is "Your husband is in BIG trouble, is there anything you would like to tell me? Or is there anything you would like to charge him with while we are here?" AHHHHHHH I almost freaked, but then he said, "Just kidding he didn't do anything wrong." I wanted to slap him for joking about something like that! Lol
Anyway, apparently what happened was Joel was driving home from class and stopped at the red light by the police station, this guy in a truck THOUGHT Joel ran the red light and proceeded to follow Joel for 15 minutes! He was honking, flashing his light, riding Joels bumper, turning on his blinker trying to get Joel to pull over! So Joel kept driving around trying to loose this CRAZY MAN! Finally Joel stopped by a house that had a guy out front to be a witness and asked the guy what the problem was and why he was so angry! The guy told Joel he was on the phone with the police and there were 4 cops trying to find him. (Side note, his teenage son was in the truck, great example sir!) So Joel got back in the car and tried to leave again, and this guy had the nerve to try and block Joel from getting out with his truck! This guy was running stop sign after stop sign trying to keep up with Joel in his beater truck! Once they got to our house is when the cops finally showed up. The police told this man that if he wanted Joel to get a citation HE would have to sign it and go to court to prove he actually did it! This guy told the police he had a terrible day and has never had a traffic violation and gets upset when people get away with breaking the law. He ended up saying he didn't have the time to go to court, and told the cop "If you think he deserves a ticket you can give him one", then he left. We talked to the cops for a while after he left and they were laughing and joking about the whole thing! Police can not give tickets for something they did not see! So they just left! Oh and this guy HAD A FREAKING GUN in his car! He has a concealed carry permit, but still! SCARY!!
Dear man in the truck, I hope you feel great about your actions that night! And I hope your son learned the true meaning of road rage and how to handle it! (this should be SLATHERED with sarcasm if you didn't catch that!)

Crayons HATE Me!

Joel and I were called to teach the Sunbeams in our ward a while ago! Of all of the age groups in Primary, the 3-4 year olds are my favorite!!! They are just so little and cute! Well this Sunday Joel took Jaxon AKA grumpy gills home for lunch and a nap and I taught them by myself. Easy Peasy! We have such a good class this year.. especially compared to last year! The things I hear from them crack me up every week... I hear all about them going pee pee in the the potty, their princess teeth, and how they are going to be bestest friends with their daddies forever and ever! They all look forward to coloring a picture every week, so I always make sure I have a picture that somewhat goes with the lesson for them to color at the end. Well this week they were overly excited to color! Getting them to wait till the lesson was over was a challenge! So I finally pulled out the crayons and pictures and literally within SECONDS all of the crayons were all over the floor! Ok, no biggie, "everyone stop coloring and lets pick these up so you can use them". Not even 5 minutes later, they somehow were dumped on the ground again... ugh, ok pick them up again.... Somehow the kids, while trying to find the perfect color, kept pulling the box off of the table. But it was not a big deal cuz they were there to clean them all up! Well when class was over I gave out my valentines to them, and had them line up by the door to wait for their parents... one of the little boys forgot his picture under his chair so I reminded him to go get it while the kids were filing out with parents. He turned around and spotted his mom walking by and went running... and I bet you can guess what he knocked over on his way out! Yep the crayon box, it was closed, but broke open and the crayons went flying! This time I had no kiddos to help clean up! Oh well I am headed home to see my baby and hubby! When I got home I put my bags on the table, and guess what fell ALL OVER THE FLOOR!!! The blasted crayons! Ok seriously?
I hurried to pick them up so I could pick up Jaxon, sat them on the table and started walking away.... YEP THEY FELL AGAIN AND FLEW ACROSS THE FLOOR AND KITCHEN!! By then I was so frustrated I wanted to scream! Joel was about dying with laughter because he had witnessed the last 2 spills, but had no idea about the last 3!!! I stormed into our room to change and those freaking crayons sat on the floor for a while until I had the patience to clean them up AGAIN! Haha Don't ask my why it was such a big deal, and I am laughing about it now.. but it was so aggravating at the time!
On a lighter note, we had a great, relaxing Valentines Day... and I think Jaxon liked his presents!

Ok Moms.....

I need some advice! This is my happy, easy going baby!

This is my FREAKING-OUT-CUZ-OF-THE-VACUUM baby!

I can't vacuum while he is sleeping cuz it wakes him up, and when I vacuum when he is awake he gets hysterical! So I have resorted to vacuming with him in my arms (he grips my neck and arms so hard)! Can you see my dilema? He is getting so heavy and vacuuming 1 handed is a pain! What can I do to help him not be so scared of the vacuum? Even when I was pregnant with him he would go nuts kicking and moving everytime I vacuumed! Maybe it's a fear that can't be helped right now... Hmm? What do you think?

Anniversary Weekend!

Joel and I celebrated our anniversary this weekend! We went and stayed in a hotel in SLC right next to Gateway! It was a super nice hotel in a great location! It was a nice break even though we missed Jaxon!
Of course we shopped till we dropped!

We had so much fun! Just hanging out together was perfect!

1 Month Older!

Jaxon turned 11 months old yesterday!
He is a very busy boy, always crawling/scooting around....
playing (and getting into things),
walking along furniture, legs, toys or what ever will help him balance!
And of course doesn't stop gabbing!
Maybe I am biased but I love his voice!
